Day 10 Giveaway: Night Out on the Town {6 Lucky Winners-Totaling more than $213 of Gift Cards}

Congratulations to Cammey Sanders who is the winner of our ClearPlay Giveaway!

I love going out to eat, don't you? There is nothing more relaxing than going out with my hubby on the weekend and being served a delicious dinner. Although I love eating out, I do have to admit I am somewhat of a food snob. I love that line in the movie Ratatouille where the food critique says, "If I don't like it, I don't swallow." That's my mantra! If I am going to go out to eat, I want the food to be better than what I make, or at least as good as what I could make at home. I have no need to go and spend money on food that's not worth the calories. The best part about it, is you don't have to spend a lot of money to enjoy good food. I am excited to share six of my favorite places we love to eat at where you can feed two people for under $30. For those who live outside of Utah, check the bottom of this post for a giveaway of another year membership & Deals to Meals Ebook giveaway ;) Merry Christmas everyone!

Here's some info on each place to help you know which of the six you want to vote for (or, enter them all and up your chances of winning!)
R and R BBQ--If given a choice, I would always choose to go out to eat at a BBQ joint if wishes were fishes. I love good BBQ food. Living here in Utah, you would think we don't have a great selection of BBQ, but that's just not the case. I have many favorite places to eat good BBQ, like The Smoking Apple, Bam Bam's, Famous Daves, but nothing beats the food at R&R BBQ! This place is our favorite place to eat when we go downtown SLC. They have the most tender, juicy, flavorful meat you will ever eat. The ribs fall off the bone, the brisket is nothing but quality, perfectly spiced meat and their Sweet BBQ Sauce is my favorite! Not to mention they have hush puppies dipped in ranch that are awesome, Rum Bread Pudding, awesome baked beans, mashed potatoes and pulled pork that melts in your mouth. Really, everything we've eaten there has been fantastic and the place is packed (despite the fact it's in a small, run down strip mall). If you love BBQ, you'll LOVE R&R's!
*Locations in SLC and coming January to South Jordan Utah.

Salsa Leedos--Next to BBQ food, Mexican food would definietly be my next choice of the type of food I love. Although there are tons of Mexican restaurants in the Salt Lake Valley, it's not easy to find one that makes quality, good Mexican. That was the case until Salsa Leedos opened up in Riverton, Utah several years ago. This is now our go-to Mexican place. It is sad, but we probably go here on our date night at least once (if not twice) a month. They have this Burleedo that is a burrito stuffed with grilled steak, beans, rice, grilled pepper, guacamole, lettuce, etc. and smothered in this queso sauce. Oh my! I crave this meal all the time. The best part about it is it SO huge you can eat half there and take the other half home (or split with someone). Their fajitas are also amazing, as well as their Leedos Platter. I have yet to have something I didn't like from here. If you want good Mexican, this is the place to go!!

Even Stevens Sandwiches---Everyone always asks what kind of a restaurant I would open if I were to be ambitious and do that. It wasn't until I went to Even Stevens that I found my answer. Their menu is practically the exact type of place I would open. It's casual, it's full of flavor, they offer sandwiches with unique flavors, and they give a portion of every sandwich to a local homeless shelter. How great is that? I love companies that give back to their community and this place is doing such great things. Not to mention, their food is out of this world! They have these sandwiches with things like caramelized onions with a balsamic jam, a pot roast sandwich with sweet chili sauce, a salad with apricots, gorgonzola and candied nuts, and much more! My mouth waters every time I just think of their menu. If you want a simple, yet delicious lunch, you need to give Even Stevens a try. They are awesome!!
*Locations in Draper, Sugar House, St. George & Salt Lake City Utah.

J-Dawgs--Have you had a J-Dawg before? This place is so great. It was started by some BYU college students and now they have locations all over Utah. They sell these gourmet, all beef hot dogs that are cut in this funky criss cross pattern, smoked on a hot grill and smothered in the most delicious J-Dawgs sauce. Top that hot dog with things like sauerkraut, pickles, tomatoes, jalapeƱos, banana peppers, and onions. Oh man! I am not a huge hot dog fan, but even I get a kick out of going to J-Dawgs. Not to mention a huge beef frank here at this place is only $4, so you don't break the bank when you need a quick lunch or dinner. Totally impressed by this place and it's a favorite of mine and my husbands. Give J-Dawgs a try, you won't be disappointed!
*Locations in Lehi, American Fork, Orem and Provo Utah.

Cubby's--If you love organic, healthy, homemade food, Cubby's is the place for you. Or, if you have any sort of special diet, they cater to ALL sorts of dietary needs (diabetes, gluten free, dairy free, all gmo, etc.). Everything is fresh, no preservatives and all delicious and amazing! Whether you like a good hamburger, a 'chick' salad, or some of the best buffalo ranch french fries, you are going to love this place! They are growing quickly and every time I go, it is packed (that's always a good sign!) I can't wait for you to go and try this place. It's new, happening and totally fun!
*Locations in Provo, Lehi, Spanish Fork, and coming soon to South Jordan.

JCW's The Burger Boys--Hands down, my favorite hamburger in the state of Utah. Their Blue Bacon Burger is the best burger I've ever had. They use this crispy, salty, huge strips of bacon, homemade blue cheese dressing, crumbles of blue cheese all over a char grilled hamburger. Add all of your favorite condiments and you have a burger to write home about! They also have a Hawaiian Burger that is super good, or a Pastrami Burger that is my husbands favorite. No matter which burger, fry, shake or sandwich you get, you are going to love this place! There burgers are as good as any sit down restaurant's burger but at half the price. Bonus!
*Locations in South Jordan, Lehi, Provo and American Fork.

How am I supposed to follow JCW's on instagram if the link doesn't work and there is only a location when I do a search? They don't have an instagram account as far as I can see, so it's not possible to follow them. Help.

I concur with the above comment from Lana Slater. There is no account for JCW's - only a location, so you aren't able to follow them. I am going to enter for that one, and this comment will show that I tried to follow them.

I think a membership to deals to meals will help me with budgeting, meal planning, food storage, and so much more! And boy do I need the help! And it would convince the hubs that this is such a great service - and it just might get him to cook. ;)
