Happy Sabbath! While creating this new blog I have thought long and hard about what I want this space to entail. I have pondered for many hours on what I have to offer the world that hasn’t already been done already. Or, honestly, hasn’t been done better than what I will do. It’s easy to get intimidated when putting your heart and talents out there for the world to see–no matter what that looks like for you. For me, it’s owning our own business and this blog. For others it’s a career, being a mother, serving in your community. No matter what our lives are like, there are always those times we have to jump in with both feet and have faith God will make up the rest. Among wanting to share favorite recipes, meal planning tips, family life, I want to share with you my love of my Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ. Everything I do in this life is to honor him. I’m not always great at it, but that’s where my heart is. He is my support, my rock and the one that gives me hope to keep moving forward and trying new things. Since Sunday is #HisDay, I want to share with you quotes, scriptures or thoughts that help me in my life. Today, I want to share a quote from President Hinckley (a past Prophet of our church) who said something I love. He said ‘Simply Do What You Can Do and the Lord will Accept Your Offering’. I truly believe if we do our best, the Lord will make up the rest. And for today…this is my best and I honor Him in all I do. Know you are good enough and His love is unconditional. For me, that means everything. God bless you friends!
