I can’t believe Thanksgiving is next week! If you are like me you are figuring out assignments, a menu and getting last minute shopping done. If you have not finalized an appetizer for your Thanksgiving feast, this Pumpkin Dip is the perfect solution. It has all the traditional flavors of fall and goes perfectly with fresh bananas, apples or even ginger snap cookies. My friend serves this dip in a small pumpkin that has been carved out and cleaned. It makes for a perfect (and edible) center piece to your Thanksgiving table. Happy holiday prepping!

- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup canned pumpkin
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp. allspice
- 1/2 tsp. powdered ginger
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla
- Dash of salt
- In a bowl, beat with an electric mixer the cream cheese, powdered sugar and pumpkin until completely smooth. Add the spices and sour cream and continue to beat until combined. Refrigerate the dip until ready to serve. Serve dip with gingersnap cookies, bananas, apples, etc.
