Do you need something new and fun to make for your Thanksgiving or holiday parties? These two cranberries are some of my favorite quick side dish/appetizer recipes I love to bring to our family get togethers. The cranberry salsa is a sweet and spicy appetizer that your guests are sure to love! The only problem with this dip is it is super addicting. This would be a great item to have on the table or counter while everyone is getting ready to sit down to dinner. The leftover cranberry salsa I have also had with leftover turkey, in a wrap or on a sandwich. It is good no matter how you eat it!

- 12 oz. bag fresh cranberries
- 1/2 c. green onions, chopped
- 1 jalapeno, stem removed (if you like heat, add two)
- 1 bunch cilantro
- 1 t. cumin
- 1 c. sugar
- Juice of one lime (about 1/4 c.)
- 8 oz. block cream cheese
- Tortilla chips
- In a food processor (or by hand) coarsly chop first four ingredients. Then add cumin, sugar and lime juice. Pulse to desired consistency. Spread the cranberry salsa over the cream cheese when ready to serve. Serve with crackers or tortilla chips.

- 1 stick + 1/3 c. butter, slightly soft
- 1 tsp. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
- 1 tsp. orange zest
- 1/3 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh cranberries
- In a bowl, whip together the softened butter, sugar, vanilla, zest and condensed milk. Add the zest, fresh cranberries and nuts. Keep at room temperature when ready to serve butter with warm rolls.
