The pumpkin fudge was a recipe I found on my friend’s blog and it was mouth watering smooth and delicious! If you prefer chocolate and peppermint, try this delicious fudge recipe–the perfect holiday treat!

Chocolate Peppermint Fudge
Ingredients
  1. 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candy canes
  2. 3 cup sugar
  3. 3/4 cup butter
  4. 2/3 cup + 2 Tbs. evaporated milk
  5. 2 Tbs. corn syrup
  6. 2 drops peppermint extract
  7. 12 oz. milk chocolate chips
  8. 7 oz. jar marshmallow cream
  9. 1 tsp. vanilla

Instructions
  1. Line a 9x9 pan with tin foil and spray it with cooking spray. Place the butter into a medium sized sauce pan. Melt it over medium high heat. Add the evaporated milk, corn syrup and extract. Stir the mixture to combine. Bring it to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Cook and continue to stir until it comes to 230 degrees or to the soft ball stage. Once it comes to a boil, it should take about 6-7 minutes to reach the correct temperature. Remove it from the heat and quickly add the marshmallow cream, crushed candy canes, vanilla and chocolate. Stir them all together to combine. Pour the fudge into the 9x9 pan. Sprinkle with extra candy cane pieces. Let the fudge cool for at least 2 hours. Cut and serve. Store leftovers on the counter.
