Thank you to everyone who supported our annual charity bake sale. For those of you who are new to this tradition, it has become one of my favorite traditions in our neighborhood. Every year we choose a cause or family in our neighborhood who is need of a little love and financial help. We pass out hundreds of fliers, make posters and ask our neighborhood to come and support the cause. Every year my friends and I are overcome with emotion and gratitude for everyone who makes this event such a success. Last year was amazing, and this year was even bigger and better! I have to say, we have some of the most amazing cooks here in our area. By the end of the night we were all stuffed silly and totally up to our eyeballs in delicious sweets. Besides the fact I probably gained a few pounds over the weekend, we sure had a great time! I wish I took more pictures but we were too busy. Here are a few samplings of what we sold this year. The minnion cupcakes were a HUGE hit with the kids. Such a cute and clever idea!

These White Chocolate Brownie Trifles were a huge hit and only lasted a few seconds. Thankfully I grabbed one super was delicious! Here is Jamie’s recipe for this great treat.

These minnion cupcakes and cookie monster cupcakes were so cute. Cut a twinkie in half, use smarties as the eyes and use some black frosting you can pipe on the faces. Simple yet super cute!

Fresh produce from people’s gardens was also a big hit this year. Next year I will save some more peaches to sell, those were a big hit.
