How cute is this? My sister is watching a couple of our kids while we are out of town this week and this is what she gave my kids after they got home from school today. They are finishing up their last day of school and this was her gift for them. What a sweet aunt!!!! I just wanted to share this adorable idea in case any of you wanted to do this for your kids.
Here are a few of the items she had in her packages:
*Everything Reese’s works great
*Orange Tic Tacs
*Orange
*Orange bubbles
*Orange soda pop
*Orange nail polish
*Orange flip flops
*Orange gum
*Orange pringles (cheddar)
Thanks Ang for being such a sweet aunt to our kiddos! Happy summer and end of school days to each of you 🙂
Shandra,
I have a question for you! Since you and I both live in Utah, which grocery store do you think has the best overall prices. I know it's great to price match at Walmart with your service, but what if you need to just run and get a few things that aren't on sale this week….what store do you typically think has the best prices? Some of the stores that are close to me are smiths, an associated food store other than maceys, maceys, or a small Walmart. I can make a trip to winco work also. I would love to hear what you think! Thanks!
Overall lowest prices would be a Walmart or Winco. Other than those two your best bet is an Associated Food store. My favorite AFS is Maceys, so that would be my next favorite 😉
Hope that helps. Have fun shopping.
Best Aunt ever!! What a fun idea. Thanks for sharing. 🙂
Angela, you're the best!!!
I do this for my kids last day of school breakfast – it's a junk food fest with orange soda, Cheetos (yes, for breakfast, you should hear the screams of delight) etc. Everything orange and I send them off on a sugar high to their last day!
That is hilarious! I'm sure my kids would think an alien came and took their mom if I served them soda and Cheetos for breakfast. I'm sure they would love it!!
Love this idea. Last year I showed up with Yahoos and ding dongs.
"Yahoo, Its the last day of school, you ding dongs"
They loved it.
