For this week’s Flashback Friday I wanted to highlight a healthy treat that my family is still loving a couple years after I first posted it. Before apple season is over, I hope you have a chance to enjoy this healthy treat one of these cold, wintery days. If you are like me, and trying to cut back on calories, these microwaved apples are a perfect way to curb your sweet tooth. If you are really wanting a special treat, add a scoop of ice cream on top of the apple for a dessert that is very satisfying and under 300 calories.
