Before Easter was here, I wanted to share with you a couple of my favorite past Easter recipes and traditions I thought you might like. I am all about simple around our neck of the woods, but these are traditions we can put together without a lot of effort. Easter wouldn’t be Easter without us making these He is Risen Rolls. The kids love to make them and I love the chance we get to think about our Savior’s resurrection and life.
Have you seen the new amazing, touching videos the LDS church has put out this Easter? These videos are so wonderful and really help teach our families about the true meaning of Easter and our Savior’s life and mission. Everyday this week they have come out with a new video to share with your family that shows the life of our Savior and more about his mission. If you haven’t seen them yet, visit HERE to download these Easter videos.
Also, here is a link to 7 Easy Ways to put Christ in the Center of Your Lives this Easter which was written and published on lds.org. I loved these ideas!
Another favorite recipe is to make these Orange Easter Bunny Rolls for Easter breakfast or dessert. They are fun to make and the kids love creating their own bunny designs.
Here is a link to a few of our other simple Easter traditions we like to share with our children. I hope you are having a wonderful week and enjoy your weekend with family and friends. I am so thankful for each of you, as well as my Savior Jesus Christ. We lost a good friend today and it has given us a neat opportunity to think about, and ponder on how grateful we are for our Savior Jesus Christ. Because He lived and died for us, we can all be resurrected and return to live with Him someday–along with those we love. That knowledge has brought us much peace today with our sad news. Much to be grateful for, that is for sure.
