For our Flashback Friday recipe this week I wanted to highlight my all-time favorite burger recipe with you. This is not your ordinary burger however, It is topped with a mango salsa and served with a gorgonzola mayo spread and teriyaki sauce. The whole combination is unlike anything you’ve ever had and is so incredible I can’t even think of words to describe it. Basically, anyone we have ever made these burgers for can’t stop raving about them. You will crave them, so beware. These burgers will become a family favorite for many years to come! Hope you are having a great weekend 😉

Instructions
  1. For the burgers, mix together all of the hamburger ingredients until combined. Form into small (or large) patties depending on which buns you will be serving on. Grill on the barbecue until browned on both sides and cooked through.
  2. For the salsa, cut the onions, mango, tomatoes, bell pepper and green onions into small pieces. Add in a bowl and add the vinegar, lime juice and seasonings.
  3. For the mayo, combine the mayo, gorgonzola, vinegar, salt and pepper.
  4. Put together the burgers with a thick layer of the gorgonzola mayo on the bottom bun. Place the cooked hamburger on the bun and drizzle with extra teriyaki sauce. Spoon a good portion of the salsa on to the burger. Top with the lid, squeeze together and eat. Delicious!!
Notes
  1. HEALTHIER OPTION: Use ground turkey instead of beef. Serve on a whole wheat bun or bun-less.
