How was your Easter weekend? I hope you had a wonderfully relaxing time with your family and friends. Our children’s school break was last week so we decided to go hang out in St. George with our family. It was such beautiful weather which made for great hikes, lots of swimming, eating and playing with cousins and family. We made it home just in time for me to do a little grocery shopping for Easter and to have dinner with my fam. Look at the pile of groceries I got for $123 and saved $62.41! I got all of the groceries we need for our week’s meal plan and took advantage of some of the awesome Easter deals as well. Most deals end today, so hurry and do a little last minute shopping if you need.
Remember to always login to Deals to Meals before you shop to help save you the most money! Plus..we are extending our LOWEST PRICING SALE through April 30th. Take advantage of a membership to Deals to Meals for only $3.50 a month! You will save that a hundred times over in just a few months!
Besides having a great time in St. George, I wanted to share a funny moment of yesterday. I thought I would humor all of you with my ‘Pintrest Nailed-It!’ posts.
I had dreams of making these darling chickey deviled eggs and a bunny bum cake. Although they are darling, they are a little more tricky than I had first thought. I gave my kids the job of making the chicks and they turned out hilarious! We didn’t have straws to make the olives into round circles, so they looked a little demented. Our bunny bum cake was a little cuter but we forgot the paw prints, didn’t make big enough ears, didn’t have food coloring or large marshmallows. We worked with what we had and it came out pretty cute. Definitely made for some good laughs 😉 Hey..you win some, you lose some, right? Hope your Easter celebrations were wonderful–even with demented egg chicks!
